Everlane is a site that offers luxury essentials for under $100! Everlane was created by Michael Preysman to counter the fact that goods from traditional retailers are priced too high.

Preysman, Co-Founder and the CEO of Everlane, contends that luxury designer labels alone, not fabric and workmanship, result in prices that are up to eight times higher. Preysman quit his job as a venture capitalist to start the San Francisco-based Everlane. The website went live last November with a luxury cotton T-shirt for $15.

Since launching, Everlane has expanded its offerings to include silk blouses, men’s tops, sweaters, soft sweatshirts, bow ties, Italian leather belts, canvas satchels, backpacks, and other items. 2013 will see dresses added to the mix.

Everlane’s prices are very competitive. T-shirts are $15, tanks are $20, silk blouses are around $80, and cashmere sweaters are priced below $100. Everlane uses limited offerings and demand anticipation to maximize savings for e-commerce consumers!
